Marine Day and Party at the Pier | |
Join us for a unique marine and history-themed celebration on the historic Burrard Dry Dock Pier and St. Roch Dock. Celebrating the working Port of the past, present and future!
Highlights of the afternoon include:
- Special tributes to the City’s maritime history
- Visiting Naval ships and nautical activities and demonstrations
- North Vancouver Museum & Archives interpretive staff dressed in period costume
- Display for the proposed National Maritime Centre
- World Famous Scale Model Remote Controlled Vessels
- Naden Band of Maritime Forces Pacific
- Harbour tours will take place at 1:30pm and 3:30pm on the Constitution. Tickets will be available at the Tourist Information Centre at the foot of Lonsdale as of June 15th.
- Lions Gate Model A Club Antique Car Show
- Kids’ games & activities
- Entertainment on two stages from 12:00pm - 5:00pm Will include performances by the 10Cents a Dance Trio; False Creek, Infamous String Duster Blue Grass Band from the USA ; North Shore Celtic Ensemble; The Fouruvus; puppet show and lots of childrens entertainment.
