FSWP announces the 2007-2008 Salmon Hero Awards to honour those who have made a tangible contribution to the preservation, enhancement and improvement of the Fraser River watershed and its populations of Pacific salmon. Heroes will receive a recognition award and $1,000 prize to the project or group of their choice.
For this inaugural year, one award will be made in each of the four program areas, selected from among the nominees by vote of the Advisory Team. To browse the projects in each program area, visit the projects on ThinkSalmon.com. Note that nominees are NOT required to be project proponents.
