Post an event to qualify for a sponsorship

Starting July 2008, Fraser Salmon & Watersheds Program will randomly select one event from the Think Salmon calendar each month to receive a $500 sponsorship. To qualify, you need only post an event that is intended to benefit salmon and/or watersheds in the Fraser Basin and that is open to the public. Events organized by FSWP proponents are eligible, as are events organized by a group that receives no other FSWP funding. 

Organizations funded in FSWP’s April 2008 - March 2009 funding period will have established a ProjectReporter who can enter events as well as project information into ThinkSalmon. Other organizations wishing to enter events on the ThinkSalmon calendar should appoint an EventReporter.  To become an EventReporter:

  • Click “login/register” in the upper right corner of the ThinkSalmon.com header.
  • Register as a ThinkSalmon member.  Note that

    • Username is entered when logging on

    • Public name will appear in “Posted by” lines generated by the system

  • Send an e-mail to Megan Moser, mmoser(at)psf.ca, indicating you are a registered member and wish to be upgraded to an event reporter. Be sure to include the name of the organization(s) you will be posting events for.
