Sometimes salmon projects demand serious muscle! Photo: PSF

The projects in the Fraser Salmon and Watersheds Program (FSWP) database catalog the hundreds of initiatives undertaken in this region for the benefit of Pacific salmon.

They cover everything from riparian zone enhancements to helping Chinook salmon increase their survival rates, and from water quality and quantity measurement research to reintroducing species to water bodies they’ve disappeared from.

Know of more projects not included in our database? Get in touch with us to add them.

Each FSWP project addresses one or more of our four program areas:

  • Education and engagement
  • Integrated planning and governance
  • Habitat & water restoration and stewardship
  • Improved information/ approaches for sustainable integrated fisheries management

FSWP seeks to engage First Nations and their world views in the activity of all four program areas.
