Author David James Duncan Rows Through A Wheat Field to Save Salmon

A poster campaign distributed by Save Our Wild Salmon, a collaboration of conservationists, fisherfolk, and others interested in the removal of four dams on the Lower Snake River in Washington state. Fishers, fear they’ll become endangered, and are lobbying for the dams’ removal; farmers, equally concerned about livelihood, are fighting to maintain their shipping routes. The images are a striking juxtaposition of row boats in wheat fields.
