Parksville Streamkeepers Create “Fish in the Ditch” Atlas

In the spring of 2006, the Parksville Streamkeeper Society initiated a research project to create digital maps for an innovative “Fish in the Ditch” Atlas. This project will research and map roadside ditches that connect to fish-bearing streams in the Parksville-Qualicum area in order to prevent vegetation removal where fish are known to inhabit ditches.
