Project Summary

Building upon the last two years of this project, a Communications & Action Plan for the Brunette Rivershed community will be produced integrating all of the community actions from see-it(tm), a unique on-line organizing tool available through the RSBC website. PRB encourages individuals and communities to reduce thei eco-footprint (e.g. energy & water use) to sustainable levels.

PRB goals are to:
1). Protect and conserve rivershed ecosystems in the Brunette Rivershed.

We will:

Expand and broaden the current action plan.
 Monitor and score actions monthly.
Develop a unique communications strategy (Brunette Rivershed Sustainability Tour, Salmon Eco-Sculpture Initiative).
Expand on Brunette Rivershed sustainability solutions toolkit.
 Produce a final report.

Final Results

This is a community engagement project where the community itself creates their rivershed vision and is assisted with creation of strategies and actions in order to achieve the goals for the community. All communities can benefit from reduction of negative impacts to local ecosystems, especially water and salmon.
