Project Summary

The vision is to provide a watershed-based educational experience that promotes interconnectedness and biodiversity, fostering a deep connection to nature that inspires ecologically sustainable behaviour transferrable into daily life actions. We are focusing on three main projects:
i. The development of four- 3’x4’ interpretive signs for One Mile Park.

ii. Summer salmon days- every week through July and August, a salmon education program will be run in conjunction with the Camp Little People which is the summer camp program run through the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District.

iii. Fundraising and partnership building to develop the Pacific Salmon Ecological Interpretive Centre. We plan to participate in local and regional events, heightening the profile of our planned interpretive centre, with a large celebration/ fundraiser on BC Rivers Day.
